OUT OF TOWN PATIENTS
Are you interested in having a procedure with Dr. Okpaku, and have concerns on how to manage the location? That is not a problem! We have a great "fly-in patient" plan for you, come over and we will give you a Rejuvenation Vacation !!. All major airlines fly to Miami International Airport and Fort Lauderdale Airport and the local hotels are conveniently close to our office.

WHAT TO DO NOW?
You can begin your out of town procedure with a consultation using any of the following three methods:
•The ideal situation is to fly-in for a personal consultation and meet with the doctor and staff before making any decisions.
• Send-in photos of the area you wish to improve or correct and once we receive your photographs and your completed medical history forms, we will prepare a "virtual consultation."
• Include a cover letter outlining your expectations, so that we can fully understand your aesthetic needs. Dr. Anire Okpaku

Please contact our Patient Coordinator and she will advise of the assessment and all fees for your desired surgery. She will also suggest hotel and/or post-operative care accommodations, as well as discuss your proposed length of stay in Miami.
NEXT :: SCHEDULING
Once you have determined that you wish to proceed with your surgery, the scheduling process begins. The Out of Town Patient Coordinator will offer available dates. A deposit (payable by credit card) will be required to secure dates, and final payments will be collected one week prior to the pre-operative visit. We accept all major credit cards as well as other financing plans.
The first day will be spent in our office covering physical examination, pre and post-operative instructions, and reviewing and signing of all surgical consents. (A packet containing copies of all consents and instructions is mailed, faxed or e-mailed to you upon scheduling.) Dr. Okpaku performs your surgery (if all clinical tests are normal), at the Bayside Medical Center, located at the Mercy Hospital Campus. Patients are required to have someone responsible for their care for the first 24 hours.
You must plan on staying in Miami for approximately 7 to 10 days. (Ask about our corporate hotel rates.) Depending on the extent of surgery performed, this length of stay may be adjusted; however, it is important to allow for the proper amount of time to ensure a healthy and safe recovery. Your health and safety are our number one priority.
